BeoVision 4 provides the best picture experience of any plasma screen currently on the market. Available in both a 50-inch and a 65-inch version, the BeoVision 4 plasma panel qualifies as full HD, offering razor sharp details, authentic colours, and the smoothest possible movement of objects on the screen.
Automatic Picture Control sensors constantly measure light conditions in the viewing room, and adjust brightness and contrast accordingly. But the story does not end there; BeoVision 4 delivers picture quality for the long term with the help of Automatic Colour Management, a feature centred on an extendable camera arm.
After every 100 hours of viewing, or as often as you like, a short robotic arm with a camera eye at the end swings down from behind the aluminium frame, and measures a test picture that appears on the screen. In a matter of seconds, the colour temperature is analyzed and adjusted to ensure consistent colour reproduction even after thousands of hours of use.
With its proprietary Acoustic Lens Technology, sound from the centre channel is spread 180 degrees in the horizontal plane. At the same time, vertical dispersion is controlled, so that the detrimental early reflections from the floor and ceiling are minimized. The result is the closest possible reproduction of the original sound, not only in one sweet spot, but all across the room.
The clean lines of BeoLab 10’s triangular form provide a dynamic contrast to the curves of the acoustic lens and the screen frame. However, as exciting as BeoVision 4 and BeoLab 10 are to look at from the front, the profile is discretion itself, hugging the wall like a painting, with only the distinct elliptical form of the lens to indicate that this is a true Bang & Olufsen solution.
