Limelight Twice plays a beguiling game of heads and tails.
On the “heads” or front side, a majestic guilloché motif radiates out from a small black dial: and the sunray-pleated white gold accentuates the understated charm of the face. On the “tails” or reverse side, a row of diamonds rims a silver-coloured dial with slender Roman numerals surrounding offset hands at 12 o’clock. The atypical design is matched by sophisticated technical details such as the reversible and fully integrated strap and buckle and a perfectly invisible time-setting pushpiece.

Its manual finishes performed in keeping with the finest watchmaking traditions, such as the circular Côtes de Genève or the circular-graining on the plate, are clearly visible through the sapphire crystal case-back. The Piaget Polo FortyFive reinterprets the original aesthetic of the Piaget Polo line in a contemporary version made from titanium – a first for the brand. The rhythmical architecture highlights the impressive performances of the watch. The enlarged 45 mm-diameter case is water-resistant to 100 metres, a dimension echoing the duration of a polo match. Smoothly extended by an injected rubber strap, it adopts a new curve that ensures a perfect fit on the wrist. The sapphire crystal case-back reveals the 880P movement, entirely designed, developed and produced in-house. In addition to the flyback chronograph function, it also displays the hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock, the date through a large window at 12 o’clock and a 24-hour dual time-zone indication at 9 o’clock. Equipped with twin barrels, a large balance with screws and a vertical coupling-clutch, this 5.6 mm thick mechanical self-winding movement guarantees a 50-hour power reserve in activated-chronograph mode.
