Hainan is definitely moving upscale and is quickly becoming the Chinese Riviera in the image of Cannes, its glittering sister city. “We will re-identify the city’s travel market and make a change in the city’s tourism industry development pattern from the low-end toward the upper-end” announced already Mr Li Boqing, Deputy Mayor of Sanya. As a matter of fact, major luxury hotels have already opened on the island and more have already planned to open in the next few years.
2010 Hainan Rendez-Vous organisers have teamed up with Visun Group to develop the first ever luxury lifestyle event of this scale in China. This new and original concept will reflect the style, glamour and excitement of the luxury lifestyle and aims in 3 days to give every guest the opportunity to taste, smell, hear and feel that luxury in its purest form.

The unique and prestigious line-up of events mentioned above is very alluring and some of the leading private jets and the world’s finest yachts have already confirmed their presence at the Hainan Rendez-Vous, displaying their amazing products in water and in the air. A few mega Yachts on their way to the World Expo have already planned a stop-over in Sanya to inaugurate the city’s new cruising center and discussions with other major luxury sponsors are in advanced stages, further bolstering the events promise.
