The entire collection is inspired by the idea of veiled femininity that is expressed in the sweet, rounded lines of the forms, the soft textures of the materials used and the use of chromatic accents that evoke an intriguing play of contrasts between glossy and opaque, and between intense and shaded colour.

Every model is a unique piece, a blend of different stylistic elements dominated by the traditional Bulgari look, a refined retro dash of Seventies style and the allure of futuristic audacity.

The result is a collection with an eclectic personality, where the varied line of items can satisfy the demands of any occasion, thereby transforming the word “luxury” into a synonym of portability and adaptability in all circumstances, the traditional mainstays of Bulgari’s philosophy.
The predominant colours in this collection are blue, bordeaux and forest green, taken from the sketch of a magnificent 1970’s Bulgari necklace of sapphires, rubies and emeralds, set on a base of neutral tones of medium grey and mud brown.

The palette of colours is rounded out by the diffused brilliance of gold and bronze and the use of accents that reproduce the original chromatic effect of burned metal.

Dynamic and unconventional materials and treatments are used in response to the constant demand for experimentation and search for ever-new results and unusual combinations.

A wide range of choices is offered for the Doppio Tondo line, where the pair of superimposed metal rings engraved with the double BVLGARI BVLGARI logo shines in gold at the centre of the rounded and seductive model. Its bold, sinuous form has become an icon of contemporary luxury.

This handbag is offered in the collection’s principal colours and in different materials, from soft water buffalo leather to precious tanned python skin.

The Leoni line is updated with a new casual style model where the classic metal seal with facing leonine protomes, offered in pale, antiqued gold, becomes larger and bolder and shifted from the handle fasteners to the centre of a rectangular handbag with rounded corners.

This new model is available in various hues and materials: grey lambskin and ebony calfskin alternate with a combination of black pony skin and nabuk, while precious, soft alligator skin and python skin in ebony, bordeaux and forest green are treated with a burnished metal effect.

In the Collezione 1910 the original Art Nouveau style advertising sign at the historic store on Via dei Condotti in Rome appears printed in the same tone and in contrasting hues on buffalo leather and lambskin, nabuk and canvas fashioned with a chevron motif. It is also transferred onto a gilded metal plate in the more precious versions of soft alligator skin and metallic pony skin for the shopping models.

The S.Bulgari logo that appears in this old advertising print also becomes the decorative element used on the metal latches of small trunks in glossy crocodile skin and on the rigid handles of the sack-shaped model offered in bronze calfskin and pony skin for the next season.

The Twist line, which is now an icon of Bulgari style, presents an original model in black nappa leather featuring the Alveare motif, the emblematic design used in the modular jewellery of the 1980’s and comprised of continuous, semicircular elements whose sequence reproduces the visual effect of a beehive.

The contrast between opacity and light becomes the basic theme of the Twist String collection, where the warm, velvety chromatic density of nabuk alternates with the glossy highlights of python skin in the characteristic egg-shaped handbags that are the hallmark of this line.

In the eveningwear collection, the treatments and materials used in the daywear handbags are joined versions in pleated satin or adorned with semiprecious stones. Gems made from amethyst and turquoise paste and delicate mother-of-pearl flowers which are inspired by a superb Bulgari necklace from 1970, comprised of 18 daisies in graduated sizes, each with a pearl in the centre and petals of pink coral and diamonds.

The result is a collection that is both sophisticated and creative, where every clutch bag becomes a little stylistic gem, an emblem of timeless elegance.
