The inspiration for this bobsleigh was drawn from the racing bobsleigh. Thus its runners are based on the engineering of these professional sports devices and are almost as effective. Both have a so-called ‘spring’ in the runners, giving the bobsleigh its excellent steerability. This slight lengthways bend is scarcely visible, yet it certainly makes itself felt during the descent. It can be compared to the side cut of modern carving skis. Also easy to handle is the folding Aluminum Sledge, which is ready for use in just a few seconds. Self-developed stainless steel runners ensure a fast and safe ride.

It was created at the Porsche Research and Development Center in Weissach and is equipped with a 2000 dpi sensor, 2.4 GHz-technology and an aluminum scroll wheel. Month by month the limited edition Style calendar that was developed by the designers of the Research and Development Center in Weissach captures the theme of “Porsche Intelligent Performance” in shape and color. The official Porsche calendar 2011. also picks up the “Porsche Intelligent Performance” topic, depicting the various hybrid models on three pages and featuring a wide spectrum of Porsche sports vehicles in the other month pages. Instead of design graphics, the dominant medium in the Porsche calendar is realistic photography of automobiles against highly dynamic landscapes in abstract tones and strong areas of color.
