A combination of endurance, orienteering and observation skills, the “de GRISOGONO & LONDiNO Transnational Automobile Tour” is a three day drive from London to Portofino, with two stopovers in Paris on August 23rd and Geneva on August 24th. At each stage of the challenge, participants equipped with digital cameras must follow the clues illustrated by photos on their road map and take pictures of the various monuments and scenery along their route. Technical as well as highly entertaining, the “de GRISOGONO & LONDiNO Transnational Automobile Tour” provides an opportunity for participants to get together every evening for a cocktail and dinner held in particularly selective venues : Pal Zileri in London, de GRISOGONO boutique and Salon César of the Ritz Hotel in Paris, de GRISOGONO boutique and La Réserve Hotel in Geneva, concluding in the Hotel Splendido in Portofino. Each of these exclusive locations provides a superb setting to review the day’s events with films shown on plasma screens and an exhibition of the latest watch and jewellery creations from de GRISOGONO, superbly illustrating the parallel between the sensual curves of the cars and the flowing design of these creations.
At the end of the tour, the two winners of this 2007 edition, Jens Lennen et Dr Shobnah Shah, were awarded the “de GRISOGONO & LONDiNO Transnational Automobile Tour” trophy, along with a de GRISOGONO Instrumento N°Uno steel watch especially engraved with the name of the challenge.
