In line with the design aesthetic values of the historical Vacheron Constantin Maison in Geneva, the new boutique inaugurated today offers an exclusive and warm setting with a comforting atmosphere, dedicated to technical and precious Haute Horlogerie. It is adorned to highlight the original spectacular architecture and stylish interiors with precious wood, leather and fine furnishings creating an atmosphere of confidence and serenity.

During the opening ceremony, the ribbon has been cut by the brand’s long-term partners Makpas Menahem Ovadia, Hayim Ovadia with the presence of the CEO of Vacheron Constantin Juan-Carlos Torres and the International Director Marc Guten. The Consul of Switzerland in Istanbul H.E Ernst Balzli with his wife also attended to the ceremony followed by the official dinner party. For this special occasion, the latest Vacheron Constantin collections “Patrimony Grandes Complications” and “Historiques Ultra-Fines” have been presented testifying the elegant and refined design, the technical excellence and aesthetic perfection which defines the Vacheron Constantin tradition and knowhow.

Among the timepieces which have been presented:

The Patrimony Traditionnelle “Calibre 2253”: in addition to the tourbillon escapement, it includes such astronomical complications as the perpetual calendar, the times of sunrise and sunset and the equation of time. An exceptional running time of 14 days of power-reserve. Only 10 numbered pieces will be produced in this limited edition of Collection Excellence Platine. Stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva.

The Patrimony Traditionnelle “Calibre 2755”: a timepiece in platinum which concentrates the major complications in which Vacheron Constantin excels both technically and stylistically. It combines the tourbillon and the perpetual calendar with a minute-repeater that features an original and completely silent mechanism to pace the strike. Stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva.

The Patrimony Traditionnelle Chronograph Perpetual Calendar “Calibre 1141QP”: also in platinum which embodies the Vacheron Constantin convention in styling. It brings together a chronograph and a perpetual calendar driven by a highly regarded hand-wound movement. The legendary Calibre 1141 is regarded by all experts as the most technically and stylistically accomplished of its kind because of its extraordinary complexity and incomparable architecture.

The “Historique Ultra-fine 1955”: In 2010, to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the first ultra-thin watch of the Maison, Vacheron Constantin has chosen to revive some of the finest moments in the quest for ultra-thinness enriching its “Historiques” collection with two new creations directly inspired by its heritage, each lending a new and distinctively modern touch to one of two legendary calibres: the 1003 (the world’s thinnest calibre with 1.64 mm thickness rebuilt in 18K for the occasion) and the 1120, both are stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva.

Vacheron Constantin was founded in 1755 and can legitimately claim to be the world’s oldest watch manufacture still in activity with over 255 years of continuous expertise and production behind it. A truly unique status within the watch industry.

This unique heritage cultivated over a quarter of a millennium is punctuated with timepieces and movements that have each in their own way left an indelible imprint on their era. This stunning and inestimably valuable patrimony, through which the brand’s history is inextricably bound up with that of the watch industry, eloquently testifies to the brand’s consistent technical and aesthetic creativity.
