Through highly personalised service; authentic, elegant surroundings; an array of complimentary services and now, summer value packages at all 83 properties around the word, there’s never been a better time to vacation with Four Seasons.
“The tradition of the annual summer vacation is an important part of life that every member of the family cherishes: dedicated time to just have fun, discover new interests, reconnect and bond in a meaningful and memorable way,” says Susan Helstab, Executive Vice President of Marketing, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Our guests return to us year after year because they know they can focus on enjoying every minute and we’ll take care of the details.”
Four Seasons crafts a perfect stay for the entire family by treating guests of every age as VIPs. The extra care taken to provide child-sized bathrobes and slippers and personalised welcome amenities make children feel special, while baby necessities – from diapers to strollers – are always provided free of charge, allowing families to travel lighter.
Four Seasons concierge staff are experts at creating itineraries that appeal to both the young and young at heart, while on-property activities – many of which are complimentary – immerse guests in their destination in a fun and interactive way.
Summer Value
Starting in May, Four Seasons invites families to take advantage of the With Our Compliments programme, which adds value to their visit in two distinct ways. From Scottsdale to Paris to Bora Bora, all 83 properties will be offering either the Stay Longer package, which extends complimentary nights depending on length of stay; or the Experience More package, which offers spending credits to be used towards virtually anything at the property, from a poolside lunch for the family to a round of golf on a championship course.
The many complimentary amenities and services designed specifically with families in mind are sure to leave a lasting impression on guests this summer. Also, all meals for children under the age of five are complimentary, and kids can choose from children’s favourites, healthy choices or child-size portions of anything on the adult menu.
We also offer complimentary activities distinct to each Hotel’s location. They range from a new Summer in the Garden programme at Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore, Santa Barbara – allowing kids to get into the locavore lifestyle with an afternoon of planting and learning in the chef’s on-property herb garden – to stargazing sessions and Cowboy Campfires at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. Complimentary use of Radio Flyer Red Wagons are also available for park excursions at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago.
Rich Experiences for the Entire Family
Children visiting Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts experience the best of each destination in a unique and engaging way. The complimentary Kids for All Seasons programme offered at Resorts worldwide is customised to each locale and immerses children in their surroundings with activities that combine learning experiences with pure fun.
Eco-conscious families can help preserve paradise while learning about the natural history of the endangered Maldivian atolls at Four Seasons Resort Maldives Kuda Huraa and Four Seasons Resort Maldives Landaa Giraavaru. The Resorts’ comprehensive programmes are lead by resident marine biologists who connect families to the abundant sea-life through on-land lectures and in-the-sea excursions, including the Manta Ray Snorkel Safari; coral reef snorkels; and sea turtle or dolphin talk and safari. The new Marine Discovery Centre at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giravaaru is an interactive research and education centre designed to teach guests and locals about the underwater world of the Maldives and the Resort’s efforts to conserve it. These in-depth presentations are sure to elevate a beach vacation into the ultimate – and yet fun – science class.
Families hungry for culture are able to immerse themselves in a destination without venturing far from their room. At Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, guests can join “Uncle Earl” at the on-site, fully staffed Ka’upulehu Cultural Center and become steeped in the islands’ history and traditions. Daily classes in ukulele, Hawaiian alphabet and language, traditional crafts and the islands’ natural history are available for all ages.
Families who’d like to turn their vacation into an altruistic endeavour this summer can take advantage of the Pay It Forward “Voluntourism” package at Four Seasons Hotel Austin. Guests can volunteer with one of two partner non-profit organisations during their stay, and children of all ages can work alongside their parents to give back to a community. In exchange for their generosity, volunteers receive special room rates and an unforgettable experience.
Teens and children are treated to the VIP experience with space “just for them” at Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora. Chill Island, a mini-resort-within-a-resort reserved just for teens, boasts a private beach equipped with water games and snorkelling equipment and offers an opportunity for safe fun in the Resort’s lagoon. Teens can also cool down in the Young Adults Centre, which features an indoor game room, pool table, library, television, Internet café…and no adults allowed. Younger children can spend the day at the Tamarii Club, home to the property’s Kids for All Seasons programme, playing at the kids-only splash pad and tasting traditional French Polynesian sweets in a safe and fully staffed environment.
